Clyw bechadur saf yn fuan

Rhan I: 1,2;  1,(2,3,)4.
(Rhybudd i bechaduriaid)
Clyw, bechadur, saf yn fuan,
  Paid a dilyn llwybrau'r fall,
Rhag it' syrthio dros y geulan,
  I ddyfnderoedd bythol wall:
Oni chym'ri rybudd prysur,
  Barn a ddisgyn oddi draw;
Trwm arswydus fydd dy ddolur,
  Tan y dial ddydd a Dduw.

Os dilyni chwantau pechod
  Ond ychydig bach yn hŵy,
Duw sy'n bygwth, fe ry ddyrnod,
  Na fydd raid
      dy daraw mwy:
Mae yn taflu ei elynion
  I waelodion bythol wae;
O, na ddilyn chwantau bryntion,
  Trwm yw'r cyflog i barhau.

Bechaduriaid, etto cofiwch,
  Cyn ei myned yn rhy hwyr;
Duw sy'n galw, 'nawr, dychwelwch,
  Onidê daw dial llwyr:
Yn nydd gras, cyn awr marwolaeth,
  Y mae caffael gras a hedd;
Ni bydd cynnyg iachawdwriaeth,
  Na maddeuant, yn y bedd.

Mae y ffynnon yn agored,
  Gras y nefoedd
      heb brinhau;
Mae yn derbyn pechaduriaid,
  I'w heddychu a'u glanhau;
Mae llawenydd yn y nefoedd,
  Pan fo un pechadur trist,
Yn y dirgel, ac ar gyhoedd,
  Yn nesâu at Iesu Grist.

gwelir: Rhan II - Bechaduriaid eto cofiwch

(Warning to sinners)
Hear, sinner, stand quickly,
  Do not follow the paths of hell,
Lest thou fall over the precipice,
  To the depths of everlasting perdition:
Unless thou take the urgent warning,
  Judgment shall fall from yonder;
Heavy, horrible shall be thy sadness,
  Unter the vengeance of the coming day.

If thou follow the lusts of sin
  But a little bit longer,
God is threatening, he will give a beating,
  There shall be no need
      to strike thee any more:
He is throwing his enemies
  To the bottom of everlasting woe;
O, do not follow filthy lusts,
  Heavy is the recompense to endure.

Sinners, still remember,
  Before it gets too late;
God is calling, now, return ye,
  Otherwise complete vengeance shall come:
In the day of grace, before death's hour,
  Is the acquisition of grace and peace;
There shall be no offer of salvation,
  Or forgiveness, in the grave.

The fount is open,
  The grace of heaven is
      not becoming scarce;
It is accepting sinners,
  To pacify them and cleanse them;
There is joy in heaven,
  Whenever one sad sinner,
In secret, or publicly,
  Draws near to Jesus Christ.
